This is a bit stereotypical I suppose, but I thought it could be useful so I synthesized it for here. This is an old west cowboy talking to a pueblo Indian on a nice sunny day. Can you hear them? I wonder what they are talking about. cowboy history native american Cowboy and Indian Woman

This rather stereotypical depiction of a Native American Indian was supposed to be the one and only great Sequoyah, although I'm not sure how accurate it was. Still I thought it worth preserving. native american indian usa Native American - 1912

I suppose this is a bit stereotypical, but it was beautifully composed so I share it here. I found this on the cover of the 1910 sheet music for the song "Pliney come out in the moonlight". Actual lyrics include: "When the shades of night am falling, at the setting of the sun; and the silv'ry moon am shining from above; on Plinery I goes calling, when my days' work is done." I guess a different style of music lyrics was popular 100 years ago. Hmm.
