Vintage engraving from 1881 showing James A. Garfield aged 16 the 20th President of the United States. Serving from March 4, 1881 until his death on September 19, 1881, a mere 200 days in office. His presidency was cut short after he was shot by the mentally-disturbed Charles J. Guiteau while entering a railroad station in Washington D.C. on July 2, 1881.
