DESCRIPTION
Hezekiah’s Pool (Breichat Hezkiyahu) in the Christian area of the old town in Jerusalem. It was once a reservoir for the city' water system but is now dry and has buildings all around it. The Dome of The Rock can be seen in the background. From “Rip Van Winkle’s Travels in Africa & Asia”, published by Thomas Y. Crowell & Co., New York, 1882.
